Switch it Up
The paddle switch is normally off and comes with a 10-foot power cord and a 30-inch female non-typical “T”-blade connector. This paddle switch is rated at a 300-watt capacity. The wattage on the bulb (in the fixture) will determine the number of fixtures that can be connected to the switch. (Our recommendation is not to use more than six fixtures). The switch is normally surfaced mounted and secured with two screws. Normally off means that the switch is off when open and on when closed. So when the door is closed the attached fixture will activate.
